Crime level in the Wa Municipality is at its lowest form as there is one person in the municipal cells.
This was as a result of high level of collaboration between the security services and the assembly, according to the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaj Issahaku Tahiru Moomin.
Delivering a speech on the state of the Municipality at the Regional Coordinating Council Meeting Thursday, 30th December, 2021, the MCE however said the assembly is putting in measures in place to have a functioning street lightening system across the municipality to check crime.
In the area of Education, Alhaj Issahaku Tahiru Moomin indicated that the Municipal Assembly provided teaching learning materials, infrastructure, furniture and distributed a total of 10,000 dictionaries to students to improve on their vocabulary.
Touching on Sanitation, the MCE described the waste generated in the municipality as overwhelming and costly and called for collaboration with adjoining districts to best handle the waste situation.
On health care delivery, Alhaj Issahaku Tahiru Moomin noted that out of the 38 CHPS compounds in the municipality, 28 of them are functional.
