UWR: NJA College of Education holds 13th Congregation

Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya(NJA) College of Education has held its matriculation ceremony for the 2022 Academic year.

The ceremony was held at the school’s auditorium on Thursday, February 10th 2022.

A total of 383 freshmen and women were registered out of a total of 526 admissions being offered.

Out of the 383 students, 204 (53%) are males, 179 (47%) females, with two(2) visually impaired students have been admitted.

This year’s intake is however far lower than the 2020/2021 academic year’s intake of 564.

Addressing the gathering, the Acting Principal of the Institution, Mr Salia Saeed congratulated called on the matriculants to be guided by rules and regulations of the school to ensure a successful stay on campus.

” My dear matriculants, I congratulate you all once again on your successful admission into this great college. As Acting Principal, it is my responsibility, alongside other academic and administrative staff, to make your experience here as exciting as we can. First of all, I urge you to honour the tenets of the matriculation oath you are about have taken and be guided by the rules and regulations contained in your student’s handbook which will be given to you. Your admission at Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education is the beginning of a good future that is awaiting you in the teaching profession, and every necessary resource to take there can be found on campus”.

The Principal revealed the school’s hostels are congested, however, he assured students that the management of the school is working to see the completion of the ongoing GETFund projects which includes students accommodation and lecture halls.
