The Upper West Regional Organizer for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mohammed Hamid Saana has reiterated the need for his party to stay united in order to have a chance of winning the next elections.
The NPP has expressed their determination to become the only political party to win three consecutive general elections thereby christening it “break the eight.”
Speaking to Asprilla on Home Radio’s morning show dubbed Sunrise Upper West, the regional organizer said “breaking the 8” is not a lip service though there is more work to be done.
According to him, the success of the party in the region depends on recognizing the contribution of every party supporter to the development and growth of the party.
He revealed that the new crop of leadership in the region has taken steps to understand the issues on the grounds and build a network between the leadership of government and the party to bridge the gap that seems to affect the fortunes of the party.
He explained that the people in the region believed in the NPP based on past performance while expressing confidence that the party will increase the number of seats in the region with unity of purpose.
Mohammed Hamid Saana further added that the NPP is on a roadmap and will deliver in the spirit of unity.
Speaking on the fortunes of the party, the regional organizer disagreed that the NPP is unpopular while accusing the NDC of doing everything to discredit the NPP.
