Late Gamebwoy ‘s family has warn Engineer’s and Event organizers of releasing and using the one time dancehall gent projects without their consent.
Several person’s have used the late musician projects to organize event with his name without the consent of his family members which has prompt the family to give stern warning to those event organizers and bloggers.
In a Facebook post by Jamal Dimbie who acted on behalf of the family wrote ” I don’t really know those from Nwaii family organizing the remembrance night for Waluu and flyers are out already, but I want to say you guys have jumped protocol because we from the family haven’t been consulted. We want to do it differently and bigger, you guys are on your own.”
Another person who is a brother also posted similar caution on his Facebook wall lamenting on the release of the late Gamebwoy project that was said to be his unfinished project before his demise.
He wrote “The track which have been recorded by our late brother Gamebwoy Waaluu before he passed away should not be released without his family notice . This goes to the hard working sound engineers in upper west region and across the globe ”
The late Farid Abdulai popular known in the music space as Gamebwoy passed on, on 10th October, 2021 after a short illness.
After his demise the late Gamebwoy chalked so many successes in his music career with many honours. He will always be remembered for his delivery, choice of words and the humor in his music.
