St Augustine SHTS assured of improved infrastructure

Dr Hafiz Bin Salih, the Upper West Regional Minister has assured staff and stakeholders of the St Augustine Senior High Technical School of government’s resolve to improve the infrastructure drive of the school.

This was made known at Charikpong in the Nadowli/Kaleo District where St Augustine SHTS celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The ceremony was used to assess the growth and development of the school thus the successes and challenges and dignitaries who graced the occasion reminded students to become responsible in order to attain greater heights.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih assured the school authorities that government is taking some measures to cushion the school with additional infrastructure for improved teaching and learning.

For her part, the District Chief Executive in the Nadowli/Kaleo District, Katherine Lankono thanked the school authorities for the landmark achievement while urging the students to be proactive with their studies in the era of Free Senior High School.

The school was established by Rev Father Kambotuu and has since been absorbed by government with 650 students and 63 teachers.
