A 15 years old boy who was declared missing by the Police has been found after 2 weeks.
According to the public relations officer, Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng, the victim has been found and handed over to the parents.
Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng made this known in a whatsapp platform on Friday, 15th July, 2022.
“Good afternoon Hon. Members,
Per your frantic assistance, the victim has been found and handed over the the parents today. Thanks.” the public relations officer revealed
However, the police did not explain where he was found and the circumstances behind his disappearance.
The Upper West Region has been in the news lately for some cases involving the killing of some persons.
About two dead bodies believed to have been buried by ritualists last mont were exhumed by the police and deposited at the mortuary.
Many residents are alarmed with the situation and are therefore calling on the police to reduce incidence of teenagers getting missing daily.
