Lawra MP Supports persons living with disabilities with 30 wheel chairs
The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency in Upper West Region Hon. Bede Ziedeng has donated 30 wheelchairs to persons living with disabilities in the Constituency.
According to the lawmaker, he is only carrying out his responsibility as a Member of Parliament in the area towards assisting the differently able with walking aids.
In a short ceremony on 27th May, 2022, Lawyer Bede Ziedeng disclosed that initiative was funded by the World Bank while he the transportation cost was funded by him.
He also promised to get a Laptop for the differently able in line with a request made by them through their leader for the purposes of keeping records.
Some of the beneficiaries receiving the items was appreciative with the Member of Parliament for ameliorating their challenges.
They also asked for more of such items in order to reach out to more persons living with disabilities to aid their movement in the constituency.
