Upper West Region is set to recieve over 4000 street bulbs as plans to brighten the region gets intensified.
A total of 4800 street bulbs are expected to arrive in the regional capital for onwards distributions to all eleven administrative districts.
Reliable sources from Home Radio Network hinted that leadership of the region facilitated the project and will distribute the bulbs among all 11 districts once they arrive in the regional capital.
With major streets in the regional capital either having faulty streets lights, the project is expected to help brighten every corner of the region to help fight crime.
The Regional Coordinating Council is expected to take delivery of the items early next week ahead of the expected distribution to the district capitals.
Crime in the Upper West Regional capital has risen in recent times led by the cold murder of watchmen.
