Wa will return to Its Former Glory Days – Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih
The Upper West Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih has assured residents of the Wa Municipality the dark days hanging on the municipality will be over very soon and the municipality will return to it’s former glory days.
He made this statement on his recent tour to the families of the affected victims to commensurate with them and also give them the assurance that, as head of the Regional Security council, the perpetrators of this henous crime will be brought to book any time soon.
The Regional Minister was accompanied by the Wa Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Alhaji Issahaku Tahiru Moomen, Regional Crime Officer and the Regional Police commander DCOP Peter Ndebrugri.
The Upper West Regional capital has since bedevilled with strange deaths in recent times with 8 watchmen either kidnapped or murdered.
Bodies of some of the victims have since been discovered thanks to the collaboration between the local security volunteers and the mainstream security apparatus.
They gave an undisclosed amount to the chiefs, elders, affected families, and search parties in the communities we visited.
