“Why should my act of generosity lead to my downfall”? Paaze Naab has regretted months after he donated two motorbikes to the Upper East Regional Police Command to improve their patrols in the Gbani traditional area.
The generous move has, however, brought both the police and the Prince under fierce criticism from some individuals saying the police ought not to have accepted the donation because to them the donor has criminal records in the past.
But, Paaze Naab stated, that he was not having any skeletons in his cardboard and he had donated the motorbikes to assist the police to halt robbery activities which had become a daily nuisance in the mining community leading to the loss of precious lives including those of his direct relations.
According to him months after the donation and subsequent provision of temporal office space for the police in Gbani, the area has once again become calm and people can move about with their business activities.
But, “It seems my action with the police to stop armed robbery activities in the area is provoking some people.
He said the development of the community and curbing armed robbery activities in the community was his ultimate goal for now.

When I met him for the first time he told me, that as a Prince, he had worked hard in life for whatever resource he has in life today and since his childhood, he had been taught generosity by his father.
He expressed deep worry about the spate of arm robbery activities in the area describing it as a canker.
He then called on the government to improve the security in the area since the people were suffering at the hands of cruel activities of frequent robbery. And the same quest led him to donate the motorbikes to the police, and not for any ulterior motive as his haters sought to peddle about him.
