Dr Hafiz Bin Salih declares Support for Bawumia in NPP Presidential Race
Uper West Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih has declared his support for the Vice President, Dr Alhaj Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the NPP Presidential primaries.
The Minister in an interview on Home Radio disclosed that his interest is for Dr Bawumia to lead the NPP and become the President of Ghana.
The Minister made the revelation and rebuffed claims of his ambition to become a Member of Parliament.
” I have no intention of going to Parliament. I only want to serve in an elected Party position or an appointment. I have no interest to go to Parliament today or tomorrow. But my prayer is for H.E Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to win and become our Flagbearer and win as our President so we can all support the growth of the Upper West Region – Dr Hafiz Bin Salih.
The Vice President, Dr Alhaj Mahmoud Bawumia among other leading members of the NPP, including the Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong are hopefuls to succeed President Nana Akufo Addo and lead the NPP in next General Elections.
