Wa: Bomandi Int. School Unveils Ultramodern ICT Lab

Management of Bomandi International school in Wa have commissioned an ultra modern Information Communication Technology Laboratory at the school premises.

Proprietor of the school, Alhaji Adamu Dasaana, noted that the school has evolved very quickly since its inception in 2017 with a modest eight (8) pupils and nine (9) staff with a bus without a driver.


Speaking to the press and the assembled gathering at the event, Alhaji Adamu Dasaana celebrated the humble beginning of the school.

‘Four years down the line, we have twenty-six (26) staff and three hundred and sixty children, two (2) buses and a driver”, the former Wa West DCE noted.

He also outlined the future plan of the school.

“It is our fervent believe that Insha Allah, our first batch of JHS products in 2027 will be our first batch of Bomandi SHS in 2028”.


Alhaji Dasaana also stated that moral decadence has become common place amongst the youth hence a dedication of two hours per week for Culture and Tradition.

The ICT laboratory of Bomandi Int School has been stocked with twelve (12) desktop computers, a projector and a laptop with the accompanying accesories.


Meanwhile the Wa Municipal Director Director for education, Madam Sophia Dimah Nandzo underscored the importance of ICT in the advancement of all facets of society.

She therefore applauded the proprietor of the school and management for setting up the computer laboratory.

During the commissioning of the laboratory, Mr. Karim Topie the Presiding Member of the Wa Municipal Assembly, who stood in for the Municipal Chief Executive, praised the proprietor for being time conscious and also pledged that the Assembly would find ways to assist Bomandi International school.
