The Upper West Regional Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Madam Amel Nancy Dery has donated food items to inmates of the Wa Central Prisons to aid them to celebrate this year’s Christmas.
She donated various food items including rice, oil, assorted drinks and water to the inmates.
The items were donated on her behalf by a team led by her aid, Hanif Jaoto, members of the women’s wing, and some party members.
Mr. Hanif Jaoto who spoke on behalf of the Regional Women’s Organizer called on the management of the Wa Central Prison to make judicious use of the items to benefit all the inmates.
Some officers at the Wa Central Prisons who received the items thanked the Women’s Organizer for the support and called for more from the various stakeholders.
