Wa Central: Member of Parliament Donates 20 Bags Of Cement , 20 Plastic Chairs To Fongu Community
Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has donated 20 bags of cement and 20 Plastic Chairs to the leadership of Fongu Community.
The donation forms part of social support policy from the lawmaker upon a request by the community.
At a short ceremony hosted in Fongu on Wednesday December 28, 2022, Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo presented the 20 bags of cement to be used for their palace project and 20 new plastic chairs to the leadership of the community.
Representatives of Fongu made a request to the Member of Parliament (MP) to support them with cement for their ongoing palace construction and plastic chairs to facilitate their social and communal gatherings.
High ranking officials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) within the Wa Central Constituency followed the lawmaker to the donation ceremony led by the Constituency chairman , Alhaji Issahaku Famina.
The latest donations forms part of his support to the constituents including recent issuance of cheques to students and other traders.
The lawmaker recently issued 60 cheques to various beneficiaries under education, women empowerment and youth emancipation.
