POLITICAL ACTIVIST DONATES TO NADOWLI DISTRICT HOSPITAL
A young political activist in the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency of the Upper West region Isaac Baningen has made a donation of some medical consumables to the Nadowli district hospital.
Making the donation on Tuesday 25th April, 2023, he expressed extreme sadness at the decline in quality service delivery in the country.
‘I used to call this hospital the Upper West region’s Korlebu hospital but now same can’t be said’. He said.
He called for an inclusive action to salvage the ailing Nadowli hospital. ‘Let’s leave politics aside and speak the truth so that the hospital would revert to its days of glory’. He subtly blamed the Nadowli/Kaleo legislator Hon. Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah for not being up and doing.
On his part, the Nadowli/Kaleo district administrator Mr. Osman Inusah thanked Mr. Baningen for having good intentions for the hospital and pleaded with him to speak with like-minded people to donate towards such a worthy course.
Meanwhile, medical superintendent for the hospital Dr. Emmanuel Opoku Ansah said despite the current challenges the hospital is reeling under, the hospital staff ain’t compromising on quality.
Hitherto, the Nadowli/Kaleo hospital was seen as the best district hospital in the upper west region until the current challenges it’s being confronted with.
