DBI: Dr. Sabastian Sandaare Calls for Unity among Party members

The Parliamentary candidate elect, and an incumbent member of Parliament for the Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency Hon. Dr. Sabastian N. Sandaare has called on all party executives and members in the Constituency to ignore whatever happens during the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary and Presidential primaries Elections that ended on the 13 May 2023 and unite together for the 2024 general elections.

He made this known in his victory speech, when he was declared as the winner after bitting his fellow contestant Hon. Abu K. K with 9 votes in the just ended NDC Parliamentary and Presidential primaries.

Dr. Sabastian pulled 311 votes against Hon. Abu K. K who got 302 votes out of the valid votes of 622 cast.
The Parliamentary candidates contested in the Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency were 2, the incumbent member of Parliament Dr. Sabastian N. Sandaare and the former District Chief executive for the then Nadowli-Issa District and also a former Deputy Upper West Regional Minister Hon. Abu K K.

The incumbent Member of Parliament after winning the polls to represent the Party in the 2024 general elections expressed his profound gratitude to the Delegates and Constituency Executives for given him another nod to lead the party in the general elections.

He also extended thanked to his fellow contestant for the peaceful contest, and promised to bring him on board and everybody for another victory in 2024.

He said the contest was a family fight as far as the ambralla party(NDC) is concerned, and also indicated that “the victory is for the NDC Party but not for Dr. Sandaare”.

He however indicated that, his outfit is ready to work with all party executives and members in the Constituency without fear and favor for the interest of the party in the Constituency and National at large.
The 2 Presidential candidates John Dramaani Mahama (former president of the Republic of Ghana), and former Kumasi Mayor Kojo Bonsu scored 580 and 20 votes respectively at the end Elections in the Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency.
