BOMANDI Preparatory School Marks 6th Anniversary In Grand Style

BOMANDI Preparatory School in Wa Municipality of the Upper region has marked its 6th Anniversary in a grand style as it pledged to bring up quality and disciplined students in the region and Ghana at large.

The school, which was established as fully fledged private school on 23rd October 2017 with 8 children and 9 staff with the Motto  “Discipline for Growth” has since evolved into a regional superpower with 503 pupils, 27 teaching staff, and 5 nonteaching staff.

The 6th-anniversary celebration was climaxed with a graduation and achievers awards ceremony to recognize deserving students totaling over 45 pupils.

Speaking at the school’s achievers awards and 6th anniversary celebration on Saturday 16 September, 2023 the school proprietor who was a former District Chief Executive for Wa West under the John Mahama regime Hon. Adamu Dasaana in his address lauded parents who had faith in the school and brought their children out to start the school. He promised to the parents that “we won’t let them down, and indeed, we have not let them down and we will not”.

The preparator used the opportunity to call on stakeholders and parents to uphold discipline in all aspects and support the school to provide the best moral, social, psychological, and academic development for the children and society at large.

He updated the parents on some basic measures the school put in place for the well-being of the children on campus in terms of insecurity, high level of immortality, and indiscipline in society.

The Guest Speaker of the ceremony, Nana Gyamfua Kromo III, Offuman Dampaaso Hemaaa and Asona Hemaa to Techiman Traditional Area who was asked to speak on the Theme “Discipline, the Hallmark for Academic Excellence: the Role of Stakeholders”, she lauded the preparator and congratulated the pupils for the kind ceremony.
The Guest Speaker called for collective efforts from parents, Teachers and the children to cooperate with the preparator to instill discipline and good morals behavior in the school for better academic excellence and well behaved students in future.

The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, who was one of the key invited guests, showed gratitude to the school preparator and pleged his commitment in supporting the school to its higher level.

He however donated GHC3000.00 to support the school in its Funds raising, and also urged parents to bring their children to the school for better academic journey for the children.

The keynote address by the Upper West Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih delivered by the RCC Public Relations officer Cletus Awuni, lauded private school operators in the region for their wonderful support and collaboration with the public sector in terms of Education to provide quality education for the children of Upper West and beyond.
