UWR: NPP Women’s Wing Opens New Party Office
The Regional Women’s Organizer of the NPP, Nancy A. Dery has secured an Office space to facilitate the work of the women’s wing of the Party in the Upper West Region.
The office was commissioned on Saturday, 17th September 2023 in Wa.
The commissioning was attended by some National, Regional, Constituency, Polling station executives and sympathizers of the party.
The attendees included the Deputy National Women Organiser, Hajjia Safia Mohammed, Deputy Nasara Coordinator, Hajjia Ayeesha Yussif, Chairman S.B Kangberee, MCE for Wa Municipal Assembly, Alhaj Issahaku Tahiru Moomen etc.
Madam Nancy A. Dery called on the women not to desert as the party seeks to “break the 8” by winning the 2024 polls.
The Upper West Regional Chairman of the NPP, S.B Kangberee acknowledges the contribution of women to the success and donated Ghs 3,000 to the aid in the admiration of the office
He also used the opportunity to call on the women to encourage potential new voters to take part in the ongoing limited Voter Registration Exercise by the Electoral Commission.
