Upper West: MTN Ghana Continues to Support Kobine Festival with GH₵20,000 Donation

MTN Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to cultural preservation and community development with a GH₵20,000 donation to the Kobine Festival. The support package includes GH₵1,000 worth of MTN credit to enhance communication and coordination, assorted hampers, and backing for the festival’s football tournament, featuring a trophy and an undisclosed prize for the winning community.

 

The Kobine Festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Lawra Traditional Area, fostering unity, friendship, and development. MTN Ghana’s ongoing support highlights its dedication to community engagement and cultural preservation.

 

Through its partnership with the Lawra Traditional Council, MTN Ghana is playing a vital role in preserving Ghanaian culture and promoting community development. This gesture underscores the significance of corporate social responsibility in promoting cultural identity and community growth. By supporting the Kobine Festival, MTN Ghana demonstrates its commitment to responsible corporate citizenship in Ghana, adding value to the traditional festival and showcasing its corporate sensitivity as a service provider.
