The stage is set for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, with the group stage draw revealing some exciting matchups. The 24 participating teams have been divided into six groups, each consisting of four teams.

Group A is headlined by hosts Morocco, who will be looking to make a strong impression on home soil. They are joined by Mali, Zambia, and Comoros. This group promises to be a thrilling encounter, with Morocco’s home advantage pitted against the experience and skill of Mali and Zambia.

Group B is arguably one of the toughest groups in the tournament, featuring African football powerhouses Egypt, South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe. This group is likely to produce some of the most intense and closely contested matches of the tournament.

Group C is another highly competitive group, with Nigeria and Tunisia expected to be the top contenders. They are joined by Uganda and Tanzania, both of whom will be looking to cause upsets and advance to the next round.

Group D features Senegal and DR Congo as the top seeds, with Benin and Botswana rounding out the group. Senegal, with their star-studded lineup, will be looking to make a deep run in the tournament, while DR Congo will be seeking to repeat their past successes.

Group E is headlined by Algeria and Burkina Faso, both of whom have a strong chance of advancing to the next round. They are joined by Equatorial Guinea and Sudan, who will be looking to pull off surprises and advance.

Group F features a trio of West African teams, with Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and Gabon joined by Mozambique. This group promises to be a thrilling encounter, with each team having a legitimate chance of advancing to the next round.

The AFCON Morocco 2025 promises to be an exciting tournament, with some of Africa’s top footballing nations vying for the coveted title. Which team will emerge victorious? Stay tuned for updates and analysis from the tournament.
