UWR: Wife of Wa Central MP, Hajia Rahamatu Sinks Borehole to Residents of Charia

The wife of the Member Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Hajjia Rahamatu Adama Rashid has donated a borehole to improve access to potable water in the Zuma Charia community of Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region.

Hajia Rahamatu Rashid is a lawyer by profession and a philanthropist.

The borehole was handed over to the community on Sunday 20th March 2022, by some leaders of the NDC in the Wa Central constituency on behalf of Hajjia Rahama Adams.

Speaking on behalf of her, the Wa Central constituency Chairman of the NDC, Mr Suleman Mohammed ( Chairman Fuel) revealed that, the people of Zuma Charia made a plea to the wife of the MP for a borehole during her visit to the community.

The borehole is expected to serve over one thousand(1,000) residents.

Suleman Balika an opinion leader of the Zuma Charia thanked her for the support and called on the residents to make good use of the borehole.
