Salma Mumin to support the construction of a cinema in Wa

Ghanaian actress cum entrepreneur, Salma Mumin has revealed her readiness to harness the talent in the entertainment industry by assisting to build a cinema in the Upper West Region.

She said the cinema will be opened to the public for commercial purposes if built.

According to her, she has already discussed with the Upper West Regional Minister on the state of the entertainment industry and ways of improving the sector.

Salma Mumin revealed that she is willing to collaborate with the Regional Minister and other stakeholders to build a movie theater in Wa.

The actress made this known when interacting with stakeholders and industry players in the entertainment fraternity in Wa on Thursday, 16th December, 2021.

The stakeholders which include bloggers, actors/actresses, musicians, entertainment pundits and radio presenters enumerated some of the challenges confronting them in the entertainment sector.

The problems hampering the sector as explained by the industry players borders on lack of promotion and exposure.

They urged the actress to effectively collaborate with the entertainment industry in order to expose it to the outside world.

After listening to the myriad of challenges affecting the growth of the entertainment industry, Salma Mumin promised to find lasting solutions to transform the fast growing sector in the region.
