I’ve built more clinics than Tamale Metro Assembly – Minority leader brags

Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South Constituency, Haruna Iddrisu has on handed over an ultramodern Maternity Ward to Ghana Health Service through the Metro Health Directorate.

The event which took place on Monday December 26, witnessed an onward handing over to the people of Nyohini and staff of Nyohini Health Centre.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the MP who doubles as Minority Leader said the expansion of health facilities within his constituency was part of activities he undertakes to improve health care delivery in the area.

“I probably have built and contributed to expanding access to quality health care even more than the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly. In the next few days, I will be commissioning one Health Centre at Yag’yili. We have done it at Gbambaya. We have done it at Adubiliyili, and today we are doing same at Nyohini. If you ask the assembly where they have done a facility, I am sure you will be found wanting”, he told the gathering.

“I am making a numerous contribution to the improvement of health care in the area”, the minority leader added.
