Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw, the Member of Parliament for Wa East Constituency has admonished Muslims in Goripie to work hard for to earn better living conditions despite the economic hardship.
The lawmaker made this known when he joined Muslims in Goripie to pray in observance of Eid ul Adha today.
The Wa East MP urged the people to promote peace and harmony and serve as each other’s keeper.
In a statement issued by the office of the MP, it said “Dr. Jasaw celebrates 2022 Eidul-Adha with the people of Goripie”
“The MP for Wa East celebrated this year’s Eid with the muslem Ummah of Goripie. The MP earlier today joined a congregation in prayer at Goripie.”
“The MP after the prayer admonished the Ummah to promote peace among themselves and to be each other keeper.”
“The MP added that, amidst the Economic hardship, we should keep working hard and keep praying to Allah for better living conditions.”
“The MP ended the day by meeting elders and opinion leaders to thank them for their continues support and prayers they offer to him on daily basis as their MP. He assured them his commitment to continue pushing forward the Wa East Development Agenda.”
