Embattled Constituency Chairman of the NPP in the Lawra Constituency, Alhaj Mohammed Donkor has been suspended from the NPP according to a source close to Home Radio.
Alhaj Mohammed Donkor who is the chairman of the party in the constituency has been suspended following reports of him campaigning against the NPP Parliamentary candidate, Hon. Anthony Abayefa Karbo.
Earlier this week there was a clash between some Karbo supporters and the chairman over a party pick-up truck that was in the possession of the chairman.
According to aggrieved Karbo supporters, the Chairman was using the resources of the NPP to campaign against the party and its Parliamentary candidate for the Lawra constituency.
A source close to Home Radio revealed the embattled chairman, Alhaj Mohammed Donkor has been suspended by the Regional Executive Committee of the party.
