Samsideen Abdul Baaky; a young prodigy destined for greatness
Every human on this earth has a potential. Some potentials lives to the billing whiles others remain in the pipe line, some achieves big whereas others become flip flops.
Samsideen Abdul Baaky, a budding football talent based in the Upper West Region of Ghana was born on January 12, 2004 with a humble beginning in a small community in Wa called Logu. He later moved to Accra, the capital of Ghana when he was two(2) years.
The hard tackling midfielder started his football journey with Accra-Based Club, Fire-Fox FC.
He spent five(5) years playing for this club and later joined King George Academy also in Accra for just a year.
Baaky returned to his hometown in 2018 as a free agent and was captured by Wa Dark Horses in 2020 but he did not feature for his new club due to the advent of COVID-19 that led to the cancellation of the 2019/2020 football season.
Baaky went for trials with Wa United FC, a new third tier football club in the Upper West Region and was registered by the new club ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
He can play both as a midfielder and a defender. His role model is Fede Valverde of Real Madrid FC.
Baaky has won three medals from Milo and Coca-Cola Competitions with Adenta Community Junior High School, Accra. He was also a key player in the Esakyiri Amass School team and was fortunate to be coached by Coach Bashiru Hayford.
Just 17 years, 3 months and 11 days, his journey as a footballer is promising.
He is a student of Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya University College of Education, where he is reading History and RME.
