The Member of Parliament for Sissala East constituency, Amidu Chinnia Issahaku has donated computers to the Kanton Senior High School after earning a slot in the upcoming National Science and Maths Quiz.
The deputy Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources donated four laptops to the Science department of Kanton SHS after guiding the NSMQ team to qualify from the preliminary stages of the competition.
As part of his thank you tour of the Sissala East constituency, Hon Amidu Chinnia made a lot of donations aimed at mitigating the plight of the people.
His latest initiative happened on Saturday, 29th May, 2021 when he supported the NSMQ team of Kanton SHS with brand new computers to have access to information.
“I donated four laptops to the Science department of Kanton Senior High school. This follows the qualification of the School to participate in the national science and maths competition this year.” He told Homeradionews.com
According to him, the donation will assist the Science department to facilitate research and learning by the students and their teachers.
He congratulated them for the hard work while expressing confidence in the students to excel.
