The Upper West Regional Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party has congratulated Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives who have been nominated for president Akufo Addo second term.
After nine months of waiting, the Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Dan Botwe, announced the list Sunday,19th September, 2021.
In a statement signed by Luri Tia John Bosco Upper West Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP, he called for calm and support for the nominees.

Following the announcement by the Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, the Upper West Regional Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wish to cease this moment to say a hearty congratulations to all nominated Municipal/District Chiefs Executives (MDCEs) in the region.
Your nomination speaks of the confidence reposed in you by His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and we wish you the very best.
We hope that you will soon be confirmed by your various Assemblies for you to begin working assiduously with the spirit to clinching a consecutive third term. We trust you all to deliver.
Our elders say, the darkest nights produce the brightest stars. To all who expressed interest to have been considered for the same post but have been asked to wait, we wish you better luck. Nonetheless, we encourage you to bring your expertise to bear in helping the nominated (soon to be confirmed) MDCEs to propel the vision of our dear party.
To our teeming youth patriots, let us act in the interest of party unity, and support the nominated MDCEs in the discharge of their duties.
