Jirapa Municipal Assembly Rejects Hon Christine Bonbanye For The Second Time

Hon Christine Bonbanye has failed to earn the trust of the Jirapa Municipal Assembly for the second time with replica votes in the round off voting.

The incumbent MCE missed out on automatic confirmation for the first time with 31 Yes Shanta 21 No votes.

This forced the confirmation process into the second stage after failing to meet the needed two thirds of the votes.

The second coming however mirrored the first with another 31 yes, 20 No and one rejected vote.

The replica voting results leaves Madam Christine Bonbanye with one last chance of getting confirmed or earns the sympathy of the President of Ghana to work on acting basis.

First time Yes 31 No 21 Rejected 1

Second time Yes 31 No 20 Rejected 1

The leadership of the party will announce a new date to conduct the third election.
