Dr. Jasaw (MP) Partners Direct Aid Ghana to provide Potable Water to 3 Communities in Wa East

The Member of Parliament for Wa East constituency Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw is leaving no stone unturned in making potable water available and accessible by his constituents. Besides knocking on the doors of central government to make this a reality, he has been partnering and attracting other organisations, both local and international to help construct a number of boreholes across the Wa East Constituency. Direct Aid is one of such organisations that has agreed to help the MP achieve his water for all project.

The office of the Member of Parliament has since 12th December, 2021 taken the company to site and three boreholes were successfully drilled. Beneficiary communities include Yayuoyiri, Katua and Kpalworgu. The community members were full of praise for their MP for the gesture done them especially, in this dry season and pray to God to give the MP the strength to attract more of such organisations into the constituency.

Before assuming office as Member of Parliament, the then candidate Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw had initiated this water for all projects with the construction of a number of boreholes and repair of broken ones across the constituency. The MP is therefore scaling it up to cover many more communities in the coming years. Now that Yayuoyiri, Katua and Kpalworgu have also gotten their share of this novel  project, watch out for the next beneficiary communities.
