Social Media Space Goes Agog After Home Radio’s Documentary On Darkness In Wa

Social media users in the Upper West Region have immediately responded to the touching documentary on Darkness in Wa after the much awaited programme was aired on Home Radio platforms.

The documentary, which is a collective team work of Somnet and Home Radio Network Limited, highlighted the persistent dark streets in Wa for the past three years.

With touching visuals of the principal streets at night, Darkness In Wa highlighted the efforts put in place by youth groups and calls from other stakeholders for the streets to be repaired.

The malfunctioning street lights, which have since encouraged theft and other deviant behaviors, incurred the wrath of the community despite the loud silence from the leaders.

Home Radio 99.7 FM, a Wa based commercial radio station, shouldered the responsibility of leading the fight in collaboration with Somnet, a very vibrant youth wing in the region to put the documentary together.

Moments after the documentary was aired live on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 7:00 pm, social media users went agog from both ends of the political divide.

From heaping kind words on Home Radio to calling on leaders and stakeholders to take up the challenge, Darkness In Wa appeared to have gingered the natives into demanding responsibility and commitment from their leaders.

Home Radio News will follow the developing story and update its audience accordingly.
