Bongaamwine foundation sensitizes students on personal development

Bongaamwine foundation, a non governmental organization in the Upper West Region held a one day sensitization workshop for students of Queen of Peace Senior High School on personal development.

The students were taken through ways of managing their time for best learning outcomes.

Addressing the students, the Chief Executive Officer of Bongaamwine, Salifu Zulifawu indicated urged students to manage their time appropriately.

According to her, the program aims at empowering young girls and boys to approach their academic activities in the best possible manner.

“They need this little encouragement. A gentle reminder that they can do it. We came here to talk to them about personal development and advocacy. We are here to educate them, have fun and also make them comfortable.” Salifu Zulifawu noted.

She therefore asked for support from organizations to carry out such initiatives for young people to strive in life.

The students were appreciative with the program and expressed appreciation to Bongaamwine foundation for educating them on how to build their lives meaningfully.

“I have learned a lot and it has to do with time. Time is everything. You have to manage your time very well and plan ahead of time. If you plan to fail, you will fail to plan.” One of the student, Josephine remarked.

“I have learned a lot. How to build my self confidentiality. How to manage my time, plan my activities for the day.” Dery Alexander reiterated.

“Before you set your plan, you have to realize your weaknesses and your strengths and how to build your them.” another student stated.

Bongaamwine foundation is an NGO which supports less privilege mostly young people in the society to make their lives better.
