Regional Youth Organizer to be reported over conduct

A member of the National Communication team of the NPP, Mujeeb Rahman has revealed that he will report the Upper West Regional Youth Organizer to the party leadership over his conduct.

The Upper West Regional Youth Organizer, Hamid Mohammed Saana was heard on radio declaring his support for Dr Mahmud Bawumia to win the NPP presidential Primaries.

According to the former Constituency Secretary, he has violated the regulations guiding the conduct of executives in the party.

Speaking on Home Radio, Mujeeb Osei as he is popularly called opined that the conduct of the Youth Organizer does not help party cohesion stating that “It is unfortunate for the youth organizer to declare his support for any candidate. The fact that he occupied a position as a regional youth organizer, he should have thought twice. I am going to petition him to the regional executive of the party.”

“Did you think the the Regional Chairman or the Secretary do not have a choice? Did you have them on record saying his choice is candidate A or B? So what is so special about the Regional Youth Organizer.”

“If you are a young guy and you are growing, you learn from your seniors. Why did you think that they are not declaring or you think that you don’t give a damn.”

He said anybody who is not an executive can have a choice while urging the Regional executives to be measured in their utterances.

He added that the Youth Organizer was elected to lead the party and not a leader of people who supported Bawumia as he wondered how he will mobilize the youth who belong to different camps in the interest of the party.

Mujeeb Osei further revealed his intention of petitioning the Regional Executives to restrain leaders of the party from disclosing their support for candidates in internal elections.

“There is a way they should do it without coming to the radio or TV to declare.”
