No radio station plays my music in Eastern Region – Nuru Shaba

Afro Pop Artist, Nuru Shaba, has lamented over lack of air play of his music in the Eastern Region.

According to the Afro pop artist, there are machinations to make him unpopular in the region because of his root and many radio personalities and Djs declined playing his content on radio programs.

Speaking exclusively to Mc Alaska on Streetvibez on home radio, he said “they don’t play my music on radio in the Eastern Region because am a Northerner. Only one Dj plays my music and he’s also my friend.”

According to him, some media personalities in the region secretly held meetings behind closed doors to disqualify him from MTN hitmaker season 3 to end his bid of representing the region.

According to him, the incident ended in court after he accused some notable names for taking bribe to favor others.

He believed he was sabotaged because of he comes from the north as he indicated he will keep on pushing because most of the zongo communities across the country accept his music and he is always proud anytime he mount the stage.

He therefore urged underground artists in the region to link up for collaboration if they are ready to work with him as he is poised to help promote music in the region.

Zongo Soldier as he is called had his parents from the Upper West Region but was born and raised in the Eastern Region where his music career started.
