Pelpuo Honors Alma Mater, Secures GNPC Funded 3-Unit Classroom Block For KG
Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon. Dr. Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has honored his Alma Mater by securing an ultra modern 3-unit classroom block for Wa Municipal Model KG.
The Wa Central lawmaker, who attended Wa Municipal Model during it’s experimental days, secured the 3-unit classroom block after series of pleas from the management of the school.
The GNPC funded project, which is expected to be completed in six months, was awarded to Adams Broni Enterprise Limited in the company of GES officials and some party officials for the National Democratic Congress.
The mini ceremony, which was attended by various stakeholders saw Mr Mohammed Alhassan representing the Municipal Education Director with support from Mr. Mumuni Seidu, Sebastian Amu and Fuseini Seidu.
Hon. Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo was represented by Wa Central Constituency Chairman Issahaku Famina for the site handing over ceremony.
Mr. Issahaku Famina handed over the documents to officials from the Wa Municipal Education Directorate for official handing over to the contractor, Mr Adams Broni of Broni Enterprise Limited.
Headteacher of the school , Madam Puobeare led the staff to grace the colorful but short ceremony.
Wa Municipal Model remains one of the oldest public Basic schools in the entire Upper West Region thanks to it’s roots from Wa Experimental back in 1917.
