NDC Primaries : Two women’s Groups pay courtesy call on Abu K.K 

NDC women’s wing at Bussie and Fian Zones in the Daffiama Bussie Issa constituency of the Upper West Region on Sunday 22nd May, 2023 has paid a courtesy call on Abu Kanbiebata Kansangabata (Abu K K) a looser contender to Dr. Sabastian Sandaare in the just ended NDC Parliamentary primary in the Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency.

The courtesy call according to the women was to commiserate and show sympathy to him after he lost the primary by a slight margin of 8 votes to the incumbent member of Parliament Dr. Sabastian Sandaare.

The Women, expressed their frustrations and disappointment over the outcome of the primary but indicated that, God the creator is in control for the better future ahead for honorable Abu K K.

They applauded Abu K.K. as he is very generous for empowering women and children to improve their livelihood in the Constituency.

They have a great belief that, Abu K.K. would soon redeem his dream of serving the DBI Constituency as a Member of Parliament in next couple of years to come.

The women however assured him their support behind throughout until his dream becoming a member of Parliament for the Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency comes through.

Hon. Abu K K, in a short address, was very grateful upon seeing these women and thanked them for the support given to him earlier to, during, and after the elections.

He urged the women to be united for the better while assuring them of his continuous support in helping them to be self-reliant in the Constituency.

He promised to pay 50% of water bills for Fian Zone Women to enable them connect Numa Water System to their various households particularly those who were part of the group came to commiserate with him.

He also mentioned that, he would been giving each group of the two Zones Bussie, Fian Ghc 500 every Month for their monthly meeting allowances.

Madam Mary Haruna, the Constituency Women organizer for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, who collaborated with Abu K.K. to train some of the women in soap making, urged them to make a livelihood out of the skills they trained for.
