Abu K.K pledges to give monthly financial support to women’s groups
Abu K. Kansangabata, a former Parliamentary aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed his commitment to providing financial support to the women’s group in the Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) Constituency.
Abu K. Kansangabata has pledged to offer GHC 500.00 as an allowance for the two women’s groups in the Bussie and Fian Zones in their monthly gatherings, during which they engage in discussions pertaining to matters that affect them.
The announcement was made during a courtesy visit by the women’s group to Abu K. Kansangabata, following his unsuccessful bid in the recent NDC Parliamentary primary in the DBI constituency.
Despite losing by a narrow margin of eight votes, Abu K. Kansangabata remains committed to supporting the constituency and empowering the women within the area.
Addressing the women, the former Deputy Upper West Regional Minister provided assurance that he would cover fifty percent of the expenses required to ensure a reliable water supply in their households.
Abu K. Kansangabata expressed his gratitude to the women’s groups for their overwhelming support and affection since he announced his intention to run in the Parliamentary Primary. He acknowledged their unwavering show of love and encouragement throughout his campaign journey.
Abu K. Kansangabata valued the trust and faith bestowed upon him by the women’s groups and reassured them of his commitment to their cause.
He pledged to utilize his skills and experience to champion their concerns and contribute to the overall progress and prosperity of the DBI constituency.
The women’s groups expressed their hope and aspirations that Abu K. Kansangabata would realize his long-held dream of representing the Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) constituency as a Member of Parliament. They conveyed their confidence in his ability to advocate for their interests and work towards the development and welfare of the constituency.
