Following a resounding victory in the party’s parliamentary primary, where he garnered 892 votes, Peter Lanchene Toobu emerged as the clear winner, surpassing his closest contender Patrick Pharuk Bandanaa, who secured 202 votes, and Guong Nicholas, who received 150 votes.
Peter Lanchene Toobu expresses his gratitude to all the delegates, party loyalists, and executives for their invaluable support and the trust they have placed in him by re-electing him as the party’s parliamentary candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections.
