Fian residents in the Daffiama Bussie Issa District of the Upper West Region have expressed their sincere gratitude to the District Chief Executive, Nadi Imoro Sanda for providing the Community with 10 street light bulbs.
The District Chief Executive made the donation on Thursday, February 16, 2023, in response to a previous request for assistance from the locals to repair broken street light bulbs in the area.
According to the locals, there isn’t much more they can say about the District Chief executive’s compassion and good deeds for the neighborhood than praise and thanks.
The residents believed repairing the street light bulbs will assist to curtail the community’s escalating number of illegal activities, such as the theft of animals from roadside parking lots at night.
The DCE received praise from the Assembly Member representing the Fian Electoral area, Hon. Stephen Katuole, for acting quickly to address community concerns.
He requested assistance from the government through the District Chief Executive to complete a community-initiated KG project which is in various stages of completion.
