Wa Central MP Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo Celebrates Historic Return Of Radio Gold, Pledges GHC5000.00
Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has joined the masses in celebrating the much awaited return of Radio Gold to the media space after a long term ban.
The pro-NDC media outlet was closed down alongside other media outlets across the country by the National Communication Authority (NCA) for breach of various articles in the media space.
With the recent reinstatement of the suspended media outlets, Radio Gold was given the green light to return to the media space to the delight of its nationwide audience.
Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo opined the scores of NDC sympathizers to celebrate the much awaited return of the perceived NDC media outlet.
As part of his support to the returning media outlet, Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo pledged an amount of five thousand Ghana Cedis to help the station get back to the mainstream media space.
Making the pledge via his social media handles, the seasoned lawmaker did not mince words in congratulating the management of Radio Gold whiles urging them to lead the rescue mission.
““Congrats Radio Gold!! You’re back with your strength and courage. Prez John Mahama has shown the way… I pledge my own donations of 5,000 GhC. Get on board and let’s do this rescue mission. The stakes are high and victory is close” Hon Dr Rashid Pelpuo confirmed through his social media handles.
Former President, HE John Dramani Mahama donated an amount of hundred thousand Ghana Cedi to the management of Radio Gold to welcome them into the Ghanaian media space after an over three year hiatus.
Radio Gold earned the nationwide tag of projecting the work of NDC since its inception.
