Wa United FC hosts Future Stars in a crunch preseason friendly

High flying Wa United FC will continue their preparation ahead of the league in a preseason friendly match against Future stars at the Jahan Park.

The middle league finalist played their first preseason game against Yakuba Stars which contains selected players from other division 2 clubs.

The game lived up to the billing with Wa United FC dominating their counterparts and pulling parity in a 1-1 stalemate.

Today’s game will provide the opportunity for the players to redeem themselves in what promises to be a crunch encounter.

The model club has recruited over ten players and this is the opportunity for the new players to be integrated into the team.

Also known as the Zebras, Wa United FC has played two friendly matches against their counterparts, with each side earning a win.

A hosts of stars such as Abudu Kaweel, Subur Nubanie, Tiraah Adams, Ibrahim Baba , Peter Ninfaah, Marizuk Iddrisu, Ali Issah and many others are set to miss the encounter.

Baring any last minute hitch, the Upper West Regional division two league is slated to kick off on February 12, 2022 and the white and black has since intensified their preparation.
