As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares for its Regional Executive Elections on 25 August 2026, I extend my warmest fraternal greetings and best wishes to all aspirants who have successfully filed to contest the elections in the Upper West Region.
Your decision to offer yourselves for service demonstrates loyalty, courage and commitment to the Elephant Family. Internal competition is an important part of the party’s democratic tradition, and the participation of multiple aspirants reflects the vibrancy of the NPP in the region.
As you engage delegates and present your visions, I urge all candidates to remember that this is ultimately an internal family affair. While the contest may produce different outcomes, our collective responsibility remains to build a united, formidable and battle-ready party capable of achieving electoral success.
I therefore encourage all aspirants to conduct their campaigns with mutual respect, discipline and a commitment to the unity of the party. The delegates also have the important responsibility of choosing leaders with the vision, strength, competence and integrity required to lead the party at the regional level.
May the elections be peaceful, transparent, credible and unifying, and may every candidate accept the outcome in the spirit of service and commitment to the NPP.
I wish all aspirants the very best of luck.
Development in Freedom.
Long live the NPP!
Long live the Upper West Region!
Long live Ghana!
